A teacher may be nominated by current or former principals, co-workers, students, parents of students, or school district staff members. A selection committee will review nominations based on three key criteria: 1) educational drive to help students and colleagues excel; 2) innovative use of technology and STEM programming in the classroom, and 3) a commitment to students’ lives outside of the classroom and in the community. Each of the 10 Axalta All-Pro Teachers will receive a $1,000 donation to his/her school for supplies and resources, a personalized replica Eagles jersey and football, four tickets to an Eagles home game with parking and an invitation for four guests to attend the Axalta All-Pro Teachers Awards Ceremony later this year. One of the 10 teachers will also be selected as the Axalta All-Pro Teacher of the Year and will receive an additional $10,000 donation to his/her school, an Eagles-themed school pep rally for the entire student body, and a travel certificate.

“We view teachers as critical partners because of their integral role in inspiring students to dream big and fulfill their potential,” said Charlie Shaver, Axalta’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “As a company celebrating its 150 year legacy in our industry, we understand the importance of leadership and know that teachers have the unique power to turn great students into great leaders. In that spirit, it is a pleasure to continue our partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles to reward teachers and celebrate them throughout the Delaware Valley.”

“As we know, teachers work to inspire and motivate their students to reach their full potential every day,” said Eagles President Don Smolenski. “We are proud to once again partner with Axalta on a program that pays tribute to their exceptional commitment to students throughout Philadelphia.”
