Axalta Coating Systems and Jeff Gordon Make a Splash at the ECOAT16 Conference with AquaEC 6100 Global Launch
PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Axalta Coating Systems (NYSE: AXTA), a leading global manufacturer of liquid and powder coatings, and NASCAR icon Jeff Gordon “made a splash” on Tuesday, February 16th at the ECOAT16 Conference in Orlando, Florida. They announced the global launch of AquaEC™ 6100, Axalta’s newest cathodic epoxy electrocoat product.
Manufacturers are looking for coatings that are designed to improve performance and handle increasingly diverse substrates, part designs and pretreatment options. In addition, manufacturers want to use coatings that are environmentally responsible and lower overall costs at the same time. The technology behind AquaEC 6100 is specifically formulated to provide those solutions.
